Tow Capacity Lab provides calculators and educational information for planning purposes. Results depend on the numbers entered and on simplifying assumptions described on each tool.
No safety or legal certification
A calculator result does not certify that a towing combination is safe, legal or approved by any manufacturer. You are responsible for verifying vehicle, trailer, hitch, axle, tire, wheel and other ratings; proper loading and securement; braking requirements; licensing; and applicable laws.
Material and weight estimates
Bulk-material densities, tongue-weight percentages and similar presets are estimates. Actual values can differ. Use scale measurements and manufacturer instructions when making final loading decisions.
